Operations Manager (Children's Residential Care)

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

Are you an experienced operational leader with a passion for delivering high-quality care for children? Flourish (Gloucestershire) Ltd is looking for a dynamic and driven Operations Manager to support our growing and thriving organisation. This is an exciting role where you’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring outstanding outcomes for children across our homes.
What You’ll Do:
1. Lead, mentor and motivate operational managers to drive continuous improvement across our homes to ensure Outstanding/Good outcomes at all Ofsted Inspections is maintained.
2. Ensure exceptional care standards, embedding child protection and safeguarding principles in practice.
3. Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to build a strong and resilient workforce.
4. Support new services in achieving Ofsted registration and compliance.
5. Take the lead on internal investigations, learning reviews, and quality assurance.
6. Deputise for the Operations Director when required.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Proven leadership in children’s residential care (Ofsted registered), achieving outstanding in at least 2 prior inspections for which you were registered manager.
2. Level 5+ qualification in a relevant field.
3. Five years’ management experience in the sector.
4. Strong operational, safeguarding, and compliance expertise.
5. A collaborative, resilient leader who can drive best practice and inspire teams.
6. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
