SAH Band 6 £39,359 to £47,961 pro rata per annum 35 hours per week 5 days over 7 days Who are we? St Andrew’s Hospice is a registered charity providing specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting conditions which require complex symptom management, and/or end-of-life care. It is Lanarkshire’s specialist hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families and carers. The service is provided completely free of charge for the adult population of North and South Lanarkshire and is open to all without distinction of race, gender or creed. What is the role? As the Corporate & Events Fundraising Manager, you will maximise income generation from events, businesses, corporate supporters, and major donors, in alignment with the Fundraising Strategy and annual income targets. This role will lead the Corporate and Events team, corporate support, overseeing major gifts, events and donor development, while maintaining the highest professional standards and regulatory compliance. What we expect of you? Be responsible for developing, growing and managing fundraising partnerships with new and existing business and corporate supporters Be responsible for working as part of the Senior Fundraising Leadership team to meet the organisation’s income targets Work with the Corporate and Events Team to organise and develop all allocated fundraising events and third party business fundraising activity, and manage these within agreed levels of expenditure Have line management responsibility for the Corporate and Events Team and volunteers Develop and nurture relationships with event sponsors, participants, businesses and corporate partners, to encourage support for St Andrew’s Hospice Represent the Hospice at fundraising events, deliver impactful presentations, and ensure donor stewardship is handled with care, adhering to best practices and Fundraising Regulation guidelines Support the work of the wider Fundraising department with other fundraising duties or initiatives as required.
