About The Team

Bath and North East Somerset is looking for a Parks Support Officer to help deliver its award-winning parks and open spaces service.

If you are comfortable supporting grounds maintenance operatives in their daily requirements, yet able to use technology and keep systems recorded and ordered, then this is likely to be a role that you will enjoy. So, why not apply to join our Parks Operational Team based in the Royal Victoria Park Nursery Depot in Bath.


About The Role

The primary purpose of this post is to provide a high standard of support to the Operational Managers and wider Parks team, so that they can carry out their responsibilities and ensure the smooth day to day running of the service. As a key part of a large team (50 parks staff) this role will be required to support service delivery, applying knowledge and skills to a range of practical activities. Providing support in relation to grounds maintenance staff and thereby helping deliver an efficient and effective service to the public.


About You

* Do you relish a new challenge and want to provide business support to a busy and interesting operational team?
* Are you a reliable and conscientious person, with a good work ethic and keen attention to detail?
* Do you have some experience of a front of house (public facing) role, whilst working in a team and providing excellent service to others?
* Have you worked in a job where you needed to keep records and regularly update them following inspections/ surveys.
* This post offers the chance to develop your key skills and opportunities to contribute to improving our performance and ample scope to develop as an important member of the Parks Service.
