We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Ely, who are recruiting for a Senior Accounts Assistant. This is a full-time position which is office-based, and to be successful you will need to have experience in a similar role.
Typical duties include:
* Supporting the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting with Sales Ledger duties including invoicing and credit control
* Reconciling payments and processing invoices
* Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
* Performing any other ad-hoc tasks for the wider finance team
You will have:
* A professional accounting qualification (AAT) or Part-Qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
* Excellent communication, both written and verbal
* Sound accounting knowledge and strong technical skillset
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
