Telent is looking for an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join our Network Services division. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply and develop your installation skills across electrical and telecommunications equipment as part of the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear Project in Somerset.
The role will initially be based out of our Dunball (Bridgwater) test facility, and will eventually be field-based requiring travel to and from site, as well as our Dunball facility. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Installation & Commissioning Engineer - What you'll do
1. Report to the Installation Manager and support the successful witnessing of project installations
2. Install and configure equipment under monitored conditions
3. Collaborate on-site with colleagues and third parties during the installation and commissioning of systems and networks
4. Assist in ensuring the quality of both passive and active installations
5. Collate test results from equipment and share them within the wider Installation & Commissioning team
