Paralegal – Clinical Negligence | London (Hybrid)
We are working with a leading specialist law firm with a strong reputation in complex claimant work, particularly within clinical negligence and catastrophic injury cases. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Paralegal to their high-performing team in London.
Salary: £28,000–£30,000
Location: London (2–3 days in office)
Type: Permanent
The Role
This is an opportunity to join a highly experienced team handling complex, high-value clinical negligence claims. You’ll work closely with solicitors on sensitive and impactful cases, contributing to outcomes that genuinely change clients’ lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting solicitors on active case files and providing regular progress updates
* Drafting legal documents including witness statements and instructions
* Conducting legal research across a range of clinical negligence matters
* Liaising with clients, ensuring a professional and empathetic approach
* Managing and maintaining accurate electronic and physical files
* Assisting with general case progression and administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For
* Law degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent qualification
* Strong drafting and legal research capability
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable:
* Previous paralegal experience in clinical negligence
* Exposure to complex claims (e.g. birth injury, orthopaedics)
* LPC / SQE (completed or in progress)
