The Role
As a Retoucher, you will be responsible for retouching a variety of Wholesale, Marketing and Ecom fashion imagery to a world-class standard. Superdry is at the leading edge of utilising AI tools to bring out the best in our photography, so you can expect to work with the very latest tools & techniques.
Our workload consists of high-quality fashion imagery used in campaigns around the globe; as well as Ecom imagery requiring a faster turnaround. You will be expected to work on a mixture of both, as well as ad-hoc requests.
We are a friendly, co-operative, supportive team, where we share the workload evenly between team members. We encourage professional development and will support you in enhancing your skillset.
You Will
1. Have experience of retouching fashion imagery in a commercial setting.
2. Retouch & process imagery for print and online in line with brand guidelines.
3. Be familiar with working to brief and to a high standard.
4. Respond to urgent ad-hoc retouch & file sourcing requests.
5. Ensure all imagery is retouched consistently whilst meeting deadlines.
6. Be attentive and methodical, with a keen eye for detail.
7. QC your daily workload.
8. Promptly escalate any issues to your line manager, maintaining open communication on project statuses.
9. Be open to learning new skills & techniques in our collaborative, supportive environment.
You Are
10. An experienced Photoshop-based Retoucher, with 1-3 years’ experience of retouching fashion imagery in a creative environment.
11. Passionate about the quality of your imagery!
12. Familiar with colour grading, lighting & various photographic techniques.
13. Keen to work with a world-class team of designers, photographers and other professionals to create world-class imagery for a global brand.
14. Experienced in using industry-standard creative software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. Knowledge of Nano Banana Pro and Higgsfield would be an advantage.
15. Communicative & supportive, happy to work in our friendly team!
16. Able to adhere to processes and are adaptable.
17. Familiar with working to brand guidelines.
18. Able to commute to our Cheltenham offices.
