Credit Control Manager (Permanent) - Liverpool\n\nUp to £50,000 (DOE) + Benefits\n\n Liverpool | Hybrid Options Available \n\nAre you an experienced Credit Control professional with a strategic mindset and strong leadership skills? We are looking for a Credit Control Manager to join our client's team on a permanent basis in Liverpool - someone who can lead their credit function with confidence, drive results, and enhance cash flow performance.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation and take ownership of the full credit control cycle in a growing, fast-paced environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Credit Control team.\nOversee the collection of outstanding debts, ensuring timely payments and minimal bad debt.\nDevelop and implement effective credit policies, procedures, and controls to support risk management and cash flow.\nMonitor aged debt reports and take proactive steps to resolve overdue accounts.\nBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Finance, Legal) to support dispute resolution and ensure alignment on credit terms.\nManage credit limits, assess credit risk, and perform customer credit checks as required.\nSupport month-end and year-end reporting with accurate debt and cash forecasting data.\nProvide regular performance updates and KPIs to senior management.\nCoach, mentor and develop a high-performing team focused on results and customer service.
\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nProven experience in credit control management or senior credit team leader roles.\nStrong knowledge of credit control processes, credit risk, and relevant legislation.\nExcellent leadership and people management skills.\nCommercially minded with strong numerical and analytical ability.\nConfident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.\nProficient in credit control systems and and Microsoft Excel.\nExperience in ERP or finance systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) is a plus. \n\nWhat is Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary: up to £50,000, depending on experience.\n27 days holiday + bank holidays + Purchase / Sell Leave Scheme\nCompany pension scheme.\nOpportunities for professional development and career progression.\nHybrid and flexible working options available \nSupportive and collaborative working environment.
