Job Duties:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students
2. Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing feedback and support
3. Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching materials
5. Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
Required Qualifications:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Degree in Mathematics or related field
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or related field
Experience:
Prior experience teaching Maths at secondary school level
Knowledge and Skills:
8. Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum
9. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
11. Organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
12. Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
13. Experience using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
14. Work in a school setting with students aged 11-16
15. Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
16. Potential for involvement in extracurricular activities and school events
