About the Role
Our client, a leading
security consultancy
, is seeking a
Senior Penetration Tester
to join their growing team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with a focus on
delivering penetration testing services
to internal teams and external clients. You will play a key part in maintaining high-quality security assessments while also supporting the team through
mentorship and leadership of technical projects
.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct
penetration tests and security assessments
across client systems, applications, and networks.
* Collaborate with
internal teams and external clients
, explaining findings and providing clear, actionable recommendations.
* Translate technical risks into
business-friendly insights
for clients and stakeholders.
* Support team development, share knowledge, and provide guidance to mid-level Pen Testers.
* Assist with project planning, scoping, and resource allocation.
* Maintain awareness of
emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices
.
Skills & Experience
* 3–5+ years' hands-on Pen Testing experience
, ideally within a consultancy or client-facing environment.
* Proven ability to
liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
confidently.
* Experience in
web, network, cloud, and application security assessments
.
* British Citizen
with eligibility for
SC Clearance
.
* CTM or CSTM certification preferred
, but not essential.
* Strong written and verbal
communication skills
, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and present findings to clients.
