IASME is a cyber security certification company based in the beautiful Malvern Hills, with offices in Belfast and Dalgety Bay, near Edinburgh. We work with over 900 cyber security experts to help organisations improve and show their cyber security. We also certify connected devices and ships of all sizes around the world. Through the Civil Aviation Authority's ASSURE scheme, we help the aviation industry manage their cyber security risks.

This role offers a mix of working from home and in the office. You will need to come to our Malvern office at least one day a week.

A BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check will be required for this role.

Adhering to Agile, waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies, the Agile Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of all assigned company projects. The role will focus on applying Agile principles to deliver value iteratively and incrementally, while maintaining the governance and structure required for successful project delivery. The Agile PM will also support the activities of the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure the successful delivery of all projects and programmes, meeting cost, time, and quality controls.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Maintain relationships and communication links with managers related to upcoming projects/mandates.
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring teams remain focused on delivering value.
* Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritise backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
* Create and maintain project plans and documentation during all project stages, including initiation, delivery, and closure, using Agile, waterfall, or hybrid approaches as appropriate.
* Collaborate with Project Executives and the Head of PMO to define and monitor cost, time, and quality controls for interdepartmental projects.
* Design project teams and map key stakeholders during the early stages of project development and initiation, ensuring Agile principles are embedded from the outset.
* Organise and chair project team meetings that meet the expectations set out by PMO governance, while fostering collaboration and encouraging teams to take ownership of their work.
* Delegate tasks, provide support, and present changes to project plans during interdepartmental project meetings, ensuring Agile delivery remains flexible and adaptive.
* Capture and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions in the relevant logs, ensuring effective communication and mitigation.
* Analyse, mitigate, and report on project dependencies, particularly those associated with project risks, and ensure these are communicated to stakeholders.
* Monitor project progress and produce regular highlight reports for stakeholders, incorporating Agile-specific metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and cumulative flow diagrams.
* Capture lessons learned in the relevant lessons log to drive continuous improvement across projects and teams, with a focus on Agile retrospectives.
* Support the Head of PMO with departmental policy and governance related to project methodology, ensuring alignment with Agile principles while maintaining flexibility for hybrid approaches.
* Support the Head of PMO with the maintenance of project and programme planning, ensuring Agile delivery cycles are integrated into broader organisational planning.
* Ensure relevant elements are captured within the company's Quality Management System, with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous feedback loops.
* Undertake relevant training courses where necessary to maintain and enhance Agile and project management skills.
* Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

* Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and their application in project delivery.
* Strong knowledge of software development.
* Foundational knowledge of PRINCE2 and waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt and apply these approaches in hybrid environments.
* Agile project management certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent) is prefered.
* PRINCE2 Foundation/Practitioner certification or equivalent knowledge is preferred.
* Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps) and traditional tools (e.g., MS Project).
* Strong task management and scheduling skills, with experience in managing both Agile and traditional project plans.
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage risks, dependencies, and impediments effectively.
* A collaborative mindset with a focus on iterative delivery, team empowerment, and continuous improvement.
* Ability to coach and mentor teams and stakeholders in Agile principles and practices.

Pay: £36,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
