 
        
        Key Responsibilities
 * Provide onsite/field service technical support for a range of heavy plant and machinery.
 * Keep machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
 * Complete all work to a high standard, promptly and within set timeframes.
 * Diagnose and resolve technical faults independently using strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
 * Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external customers.
 * Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction at every stage.
 * Ensure all personal and company equipment complies with health and safety standards.
 * Supervise apprentices when required, maintaining high-quality workmanship and safe working procedures.
Key Skills and Qualifications
 * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Plant or Land-Based Mechanical Engineering, or a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in plant or heavy machinery maintenance.
 * Proven ability to service and repair a wide range of heavy tracked machinery.
 * Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
 * CPCS Card or equivalent certification preferred.
 * Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and commercial awareness.
 * Self‑motivated, efficient, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
