We are looking for a committed and skilled Grounds person to join our Urban Greenspaces team. You will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality horticultural and grounds maintenance services across our parks, estates, and open spaces—helping us to keep Enfield’s outdoor environments clean, safe, attractive, and welcoming for all residents.
As part of a hardworking and dedicated team, you will carry out a broad range of horticultural, grounds maintenance, and environmental management tasks in line with Service Level Agreements and council standards. You’ll communicate professionally with residents and colleagues, respond positively to enquiries, and support safe and effective service delivery across the borough.

1. Deliver a wide range of grounds maintenance and horticultural duties
2. Engage positively with the public, providing advice and assistance as needed.
3. Operate and maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles (up to tonnes)
4. Support the upkeep of our green spaces in parks, housing estates and highways
5. Carry out basic documentation such as pre‑start checks and work programme updates.
6. Report defects, complaints, accidents, and near‑misses promptly.
7. Support colleagues and assist with on‑the‑job training, guiding more junior staff when required.
