The primary function of the Pega Tester role is to ensure the quality and performance of Pega CDH applications through comprehensive testing strategies. This role collaborates with various stakeholders to validate system functionality and improve testing processes aligned with business goals. Main Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Pega CDH applications. Collaborate with business analysts, decision architects, and developers to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios. Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. Validate Next-Best-Action (NBA) strategies, decision flows, and engagement policies. Identify, document, track, and manage software defects. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies within the Pega CDH environment. Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning. Utilize test automation tools to enhance coverage and efficiency (desirable). Key Requirements: Strong understanding of Pega CDH architecture and its core components. Familiarity with SQL queries for data validation and analysis. Knowledge of testing methodologies and SDLC. Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, TestRail). Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (PCDC) certification. Experience with API testing using tools like Postman. Experience in the financial services vertical. Knowledge of automation frameworks and tools. Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
