We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Asset Investment Analyst with 5 years of experience to join a Single-Family Office in London. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in investment research, fund analysis, and portfolio management support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Multi-Asset Class Research (Equities, Bonds, Alternatives, FX): Conduct in-depth research across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and foreign exchange. Analyze market trends, macroeconomic indicators, sector dynamics, and company fundamentals to identify investment opportunities that align with the family office’s objectives.
* Qualitative and Quantitative Fund Analysis: Evaluate fund managers and investment strategies by assessing performance metrics, risk-adjusted returns, style consistency, and portfolio holdings. Develop proprietary models to compare and benchmark fund performance against relevant indices and peer groups.
* Writing Investment Commentaries: Prepare detailed investment reports and market commentaries that articulate the investment thesis, performance reviews, and macroeconomic outlook for internal stakeholders and external partners. Ensure clarity and precision in communication to support decision-making processes.
* Developing the Macro House View: Contribute to the formulation of the family office’s overarching macroeconomic perspective by analyzing global economic trends, policy developments, and geopolitical risks. Collaborate with the portfolio manager to translate macro views into actionable investment strategies.
* Maintain Relationships with Banks: Actively engage with investment banks, wealth managers, and research analysts to gather insights on market positioning, strategic trade ideas, and emerging investment themes. Critically assess external recommendations and integrate relevant insights into the investment process.
* Supporting the Portfolio Manager: Assist in portfolio construction, asset allocation decisions, risk management, and performance monitoring. Provide research support, back-testing, and scenario analysis to enhance portfolio efficiency.
* Maintaining High Quality Performance Models for Different Investment Strategies: Develop and refine performance models to track the returns, risk metrics, and attribution of the firm’s core investment strategies. Ensure accurate data reporting and analytics to enhance investment decision-making.
