Materials Controller Telford Up to circa £30,000 per annum Monday
Friday (Full-time) We are working with a successful manufacturing organisation in the Telford area who are looking for a driven Materials Controller to join them and be responsible for coordinating all planning activities relating inbound and outbound materials and finished goods across the site. This company are a stable and well-recognised name within their market, with a growing customer base. The Materials Controller will be responsible for: Ensuring effective levels of inbound raw materials and finished product Ensure order cycles and stock levels are sufficient to ensure material availability to meet production demands Utilise order forecasts to create efficient materials schedules Ensure purchase orders are raised and placed with suppliers for raw materials and packaging to achieve OTIF availability of materials and packaging Monitor all work in progress and stock levels for raw materials and finished product Ensure Materials Schedule meet demand Monitor supplier performance Support and escalate where necessary any supply chain issues affecting availability Skills and Experience required: Previous experience as a Materials Controller / Materials Planner / Materials Scheduler / Supply Chain Planner role within a manufacturing environment Experience in customer driven, fast paced manufacturing environment Knowledge and experience of planning in both MS Excel and MRP/ERP systems will be considered Confident utilising of MS Excel to plan, schedule and analyse materials data The application process: We will carefully consider your details and advise you
