The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team and support Sigma Healthcare’s financial accounting and reporting processes.
Reporting to the Group Accounting and Reporting Manager, this role will see you play a key part in month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation, reporting and external audit support.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
* Support the month-end close and consolidation process
* Prepare journals, analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with monthly reporting packs and commentary
* Support budgeting, forecasting and ad‑hoc analysis
* Liaise with external auditors and coordinate audit requests
* Contribute to half‑year and annual reporting for release to the ASX
* Support process improvements, controls and documentation across finance
* Get involved in ad‑hoc finance, commercial, operational and sustainability projects
About You
You’ll bring strong financial accounting skills, attention to detail and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business.
You may come from financial accounting, audit, group reporting, technical accounting or a similar finance role within a medium to large organization.
To be successful, you will ideally bring:
* A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related field
* CA/CPA qualification, or working towards one
* Strong financial accounting experience
* Experience supporting month‑end, reconciliations and reporting processes
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
* Experience with large ERP systems, SAP S/4HANA or BI tools will be highly regarded
* Exposure to ASX reporting, leases, share‑based payments or external audit will be viewed favourably
