Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems for VoIP system issues, including call quality, connectivity, and functionality.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot VoIP hardware and software problems, including IP phones, network switches, and routers.
* Prioritise and resolve support requests in line with company SLA standards.
* Collaborate with network engineers and system administrators to identify and fix network-related VoIP issues.
* Assist in the configuration, installation, and testing of VoIP equipment and software upgrades.
* Maintain accurate records by documenting troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and configurations.
* Provide training and guidance to end-users on VoIP system features and best practices.
* Stay up to date with industry trends and recommend improvements for system reliability and efficiency.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in a technical support or helpdesk role, preferably within a VoIP environment.
* Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols and technologies (SIP, RTP, DHCP, QoS).
* Proficiency in troubleshooting VoIP hardware/software (IP phones, PBX systems, gateways, SBCs).
* Familiarity with network concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls).
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
