Main duties of the job
As Fundraising & Engagement Coordinator, you will play a key role in the growth of income and engagement for the Charity, making a tangible difference to patients, staff, and the wider community. Youll develop and deliver innovative fundraising initiatives, high-impact events, and innovative campaigns that inspire donors, volunteers, corporate partners, and local groups to support the Charity.A key part of the role is building strong internal relationships, engaging NHS staff in fundraising activity and ambassador programmes, embedding the Charity at the heart of the Trust. You will also have a high level of supporter care, ensuring every interaction is professional, inspiring, and impactful.This role requires a proactive, creative, and results-driven individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Qualifications
* 5 GCSs including maths and English or Equivalent Grace C/4 or above
* Degree or equivalent practical experience in a comparable role.
* Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently between TRFT sites and for patient visits in the Rotherham area and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010
knowledge
* Understanding of Fundraising Codes of Practice and sector legalities including GDPR
* Broad knowledge and experience of all areas of fundraising including campaign and event management
* Awareness of current fundraising trends and developments
* Knowledge and understanding of CRM systems for supporter management
* Proven success in achieving fundraising targets and managing diverse fundraising campaigns
Experience
* Experience of building and maintaining long-term relationships with supporters, volunteers, and community partners
* Experience of working in a sales environment. Excellent sales skills with the ability to articulate information in a persuasive manner, converting prospects into supporters
* Experience of working in an NHS or a health related field
* Experience of working within budgets and financial/non-financial KPIs
* Experience of planning, delivering, and evaluating fundraising campaigns and events
