HGV2 Flat Bed Driver – Hockliffe
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced HGV 2 Flat Bed Driver in Hockliffe to support a busy transport operation. In this role, you will deliver goods safely using a flatbed vehicle while making sure all loads are secured correctly and arrive on time.

Salary: £17.00 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time (shift details to be confirmed)

1. In this role, you will operate an HGV Class 2 flatbed vehicle to deliver goods to various locations
2. You will secure loads correctly to keep them safe during transport
3. Before and after each shift, you will carry out vehicle checks and report any issues
4. In addition, you will complete delivery paperwork accurately
5. You will communicate clearly with dispatch and customers about delivery times
6. At all times, you will follow road traffic laws and company safety rules
7. When required, you will assist with loading and unloading using safe handling methods
Essential Skills & Experience
8. Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
9. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
10. Experience driving flatbed vehicles
11. Experience securing heavy or awkward loads
12. Good knowledge of UK road safety rules
13. Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
