Windsor Clive Primary School is a highly inclusive, successful, warm and community-focused school. We are excited to be able to offer a temporary position in our well established Special Resource Base for children with complex learning needs. The base consists of two classes which caters for children from Reception to Year 6.
We are seeking a skilled, caring, enthusiastic and resilient teaching assistant to be part of the staff team. The successful candidate will be part of the school’s support staff team and will help ensure the needs of the children are met, both in the base and when they integrate for activities in the mainstream classes.
A commitment to play/sensory based and experiential learning, both indoors and outdoors, is essential.
The role requires a person with empathy, patience and someone who understands the importance of effective communication and engagement with families. The successful candidate will need to be a team player and collaborate effectively with the other staff at all levels.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
