Here at HMP Ashfield we are looking for a Workforce Management Administrator to join our team. The role of the Workforce Management Administrator is to work as part of a team, ensuring effective management of staff leave and scheduling. They need to ensure leave is reviewed in a timely manner and actioned in line with company policy and effectively capture any shifts that are to be scheduled on the company’s in-house system.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Managing staff leave, ensuring to adhere to a leave threshold system and being the point of contact for staff with leave queries.
2. Overseeing and responding to the functional inbox.
3. Agreeing shift swaps amongst colleagues and actioning on the system.
4. Working closely with the Detail Coordinator, to help in agreeing overtime with staff if required.
5. Ensuring training dates for staff are added to the staff schedule on the system.
6. Updating and maintaining staff information, such as contact details and lateness reports.
7. Contribute to the delivery and achievement of all performance measures, contract outcomes and locally agreed targets including KPI’s/CDIs as outlined in your personal development review.
8. Adhere to the Code of Conduct.
What you will need:
9. GCSEs – Maths, English
10. Strong IT literacy - competence and ability with excel in patricular is important in this role
11. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with all grades

13. Solid organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate workload based on deadlines
14. Sound ethical and professional standards
15. Confident and credible
16. Can demonstrate ability/experience in working within a busy environment.
