As the successful candidate you will have fantastic stakeholder management skills, be able to get truly under the skin of the business and help them shape business functions translating numbers into actionable insights. Other key responsibilities include;
* Strategic Leadership
* Own financial planning cycles (annual budget, quarterly forecasts, long-range plans).
* Deliver forward-looking analysis, scenario planning, and decision support to the CFO and executive team.
* Be a strategic advisor on investments, pricing, capital allocation, and overall business performance.
* Be a major influence on M&A activity and other growth initiatives through robust financial modelling and commercial evaluation.
* Commercial Business Partnering
* Partner cross-functionally with commercial, operations, product, and sales leader to evaluate initiatives, contracts, and growth opportunities.
* Partner with sales and product leaders on pricing strategy, deal structuring, and go-to-market plans.
* Develop commercial/financial models to assess ROI on new investments, partnerships, and market entries.
* Drive insights into customer profitability, contract performance, and margin improvement.
* Act as the finance voice in commercial decision-making - balancing growth opportunities with financial discipline.
* Performance Management & Analysis
* Own monthly and quarterly performance reviews, ensuring robust variance analysis vs. budget/forecast.
* Develop KPIs and dashboards that link financial results to operational drivers.
* Proactively highlight risks, opportunities, and recommendations to senior leadership.
* Provide insight into competitor benchmarks, market trends, and external factors impacting financial performance.
