Job Description Lead Integration Engineer – Enterprise Security Systems £68,000 – £70,000 basic £7,200 car allowance Home Counties / London-based | 80% field-based | EMEA travel We’re working with one of the world’s top four enterprise security systems integrators, known for delivering high-end integrated projects across EMEA. Their work spans data centres (making up 70% of the workload), finance houses, software companies and blue-chip HQs. They’re now looking to appoint a Lead Integration Engineer to drive technical excellence, champion engineering delivery, and act as a central point of leadership for the UK team. This isn’t just a senior engineer role – this is the voice and face of engineering for the UK business. You’ll be the go-to for customers, internal teams, and suppliers, ensuring every solution is delivered to the highest technical and professional standards. What You’ll Be Doing Lead, mentor and manage the UK technical engineering team – supporting both installation and commissioning engineers, with dotted line support to engineers across EMEA Take responsibility for planning, scheduling, and technical project delivery across the region Commission, test and troubleshoot complex security systems, primarily access control and CCTV, including server deployment and programming Be hands-on with field work (80%), while leading project coordination and mentoring (20%) Provide technical assurance and guidance across live projects, new bids, tenders and solution design Set and uphold SWI’s technical standards across all projects and maintain platform certification programmes (Lenel, Genetec, Honeywell, C-Cure, Milestone, etc.) Partner closely with Design, Sales, Account Management and Business Development to ensure full technical alignment across functions Review, refine and document commissioning, QA, and project sign-off processes Provide internal IT/security infrastructure support as needed (server knowledge essential) Deliver in-house training, "lunch & learns", and lead continuous improvement efforts Support service engineers, resolve escalations, and ensure a smooth technical handover Host technical meetings, build relationships with suppliers, and represent the business at industry level Who We’re Looking For A confident and experienced Lead Engineer with 10 years in the electronic security industry 5 years commissioning medium to large-scale enterprise systems (access and CCTV) Strong field experience and a willingness to stay hands-on – this is not a desk-only role Certified across major platforms including Lenel, C-Cure, Openpath, Feenics, AMAG, Prowatch, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon Excellent communicator – trusted by customers and colleagues alike Highly organised with experience scheduling engineers and managing projects across multiple sites A confident decision-maker who leads from the front and builds capability in others Familiar with Microsoft Office, commissioning documentation, and networking principles (switches, servers, firewalls) Based within 2 hours of Hemel Hempstead – able to be office-based ~25% of the time Why Join?
