Job Title: Bid & Tender Writer
Location: Croydon, Office Based/Hybrid
Hours: hours per week, Monday to Friday

Job Role:
As a Bid & Tender Writer, you will be responsible for analysingtender documents, preparing and submitting bids and PQQs (Pre-QualificationQuestionnaires), and crafting compelling responses for both new and existingclients. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong writingskills, and the ability to manage inputs from various stakeholders to producewinning tender responses. You will maintain and develop an effective bidlibrary and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Bid Team andthe wider Business Development function.

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Thoroughly analyse tender documentsto identify key requirements and areas needing further clarification.
2. Prepare and submit high-quality bidsand PQQs in a timely manner.
3. Identify and seek clarification onany ambiguous areas within tender documents.
4. Write original and compelling responses forbids and proposals, ensuring they are relevant, accurate, and professional.
5. Maintain and develop an effectivebid library for use in future submissions.
6. Manage inputs from a variety ofinternal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts,subcontractors, and third parties.
7. Review past submissions to gatherfeedback and lessons learned, promoting continuous improvement within the BidTeam and Business Development function.
8. Support the documentation of bidstrategy, differentiators, win themes, key messages, and content for proposalsand presentations.
9. Identify and support internal changeprojects necessary to remain competitive in bids.
10. Introduce and manage necessary bidprocesses and procedures.
11. Conduct detailed research ofindividual clients and sectors to tailor proposals accordingly.
12. Maintain awareness of competitoractivity and market trends to inform bid strategies.
13. Understand and document businessprocesses throughout the organization for accurate tender responses.
14. Manage and update the JBM tenderlibrary to ensure it remains a valuable resource for the team.
