We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fire Stopper to join their team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work on a range of commercial and residential projects, ensuring all fire protection systems are installed to the highest safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Install fire-stopping materials such as fire-rated seals, boards & coatings to walls, floors, and service penetrations
* Inspect and assess fire-stopping systems to ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and fire safety standards
* Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and fire safety reports
* Perform remedial works to rectify non-compliant fire-stopping installations
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including photographic evidence and compliance documentation using reporting system
* Work with other technicians to ensure project delivery and customer sign offs
* Adhere to all health & safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE and risk assessments
* Provide recommendations for improvements to fire-stopping systems as required
* Attend training and development programs to stay updated with the latest fire-stopping technologies and regulations as well as delivering on-site and in-house training to technicians
Requirements:
* At least 2 years' experience in fire stopping
* NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
* Knowledge of fire safety regulations and industry standards
* Experience in fire-stopping installation and/or passive fire protection
* Experience with batt, mastic, fire barriers & compound
* Experienced using fire-stopping products from manufacturers such as but not limited to Rockwool, QuelFire xcswzye & Firefly
* Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship and ability to follow technical specifications and details
* Working at heights and in confined spaces trained
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
* DBS security clearance
