The clinical coding assistant will work closely with the clinical coding team to ensure the case notes are collected from around the Trust to ensure the episodes are coded within the monthly deadline. This is a vital role within the clinical coding team. Assistants work closely with various departments around the Trust. To obtain patient case notes from various areas around the Trust. The job includes a lot of manual work and will require the successful candidate to be able to walk for around 4-5 hours per day.
