About the Job
As a Manufacturing Project Manager, youll work collaboratively with stakeholders to lead operational initiatives that drive performance, efficiency and excellence such as the implementation of new equipment, product optimisation and facility consolidation. Youll be responsible for managing multiple cross-functional projects from concept to
completion, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines and budgets.
What you will be responsible for:
Working with the Director of Manufacturing and Operations Leadership team, develop and present business cases for manufacturing capital, optimisation and/or consolidation projects.
Apply a structured planning approach and analysis to autonomously lead initiatives while evaluating progress, establishing project timelines and ownership, identifying measures of success, ensuring commitments are met, and expected results are realised.
Manage the design, construction and commissioning of upgrades to manufacturing facilities, as well as the dilapidations of exited facilities.
Identify and lead cross-functional teams to execute new installations, production transfers and projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency.
Identify, communicate and mitigate risks and roadblocks, ensuring proactive communication with stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to scope, plan and deliver projects to agreed timescales and budgets.
Drive continuous improvement through data-driven analysis and innovative problem-solving.
Coordinate multiple medium to high complexity projects across the region.
Provide regular updates and reporting to the leadership team, adjusting strategy as needed.
Be a self-navigator and build productive relationships with cross-functional teams involved in the projects.
What you will already have:
5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments
A proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong commercial and budgetary management skills.
A strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills.
The ability to convey complex concepts in a simple and clear way.
Experience of working within a matrixed organisation would be beneficial.
