Location: we have vacancies available nationwide across NW&C, Eastern, Southern and Western routes. Your role will be hybrid between office and home-based.
My client is seeking a highly skilled Structures Examiner to undertake structural examinations across the Network Rail infrastructure. This will include recording defects and reporting on finding for a selection of structure types such as viaducts, bridges (over, under and foot), subways, retaining walls, culverts and building.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of bridges, both on rail networks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Work within safety guidelines and report findings clearly.
Perform inspections at varying heights and in confined spaces.
Report directly to a Unit Leader and collaborate with the Territory Manager for effective delivery of inspections.
Travel to various sites across the designated route, with potential for both day and night shifts depending on the contract requirements.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bridge Examiner or Inspector.
In-depth knowledge of Rail inspection regulations.
Ability to work at height and within confined spaces.
Valid PTS and COSS competency.
A full, valid UK driving license
