We are looking for a Care Manager to lead our team and uphold our commitment to improving the lives of our service users. The Role: Leading Quality and Growth As the Care Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and strategic growth of the service. Your role will encompass three core areas: Quality, People, and Operations. 1. Quality and Compliance (CQC) * Be the accountable leader for the quality of care, ensuring the service delivers high levels of care in line with all CQC regulations. * Ensure strict compliance with CQC standards through continuous monitoring and internal auditing. * Develop and implement comprehensive, person-centred care plans for adults, including those with complex needs. * Conduct clinical reviews and maintain a robust system for continuous quality improvement. 2. People Leadership and Development * Manage staff and resources effectively, fostering a positive and highly skilled team culture. * Conduct assessments, supervisions, and overall management of the support workers. * Act as a reflective leader who inspires and motivates the team. * Oversee and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. * Mentor and develop your own management style within the company’s supportive framework. 3. Operational Management and Growth * Liaise effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of care. * Oversee and optimise staff rotas to guarantee consistent and efficient service delivery. * Work closely with the owners to develop and implement growth plans for the service, including the expansion of Live-In and Complex Care packages. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong character, passion for care, and proven leadership ability. * A minimum of Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification is essential; Level 5 is highly desirable or you must be actively working towards it. * Proven experience working as a Care Manager or Deputy Manager in the domiciliary sector. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with staff, clients, and professionals. * A strong character and a highly organised, reflective leader. * A genuine passion for high levels of care and a commitment to improving service user lives.
