Arrest Officer Location: North West - Liverpool Salary: £25,000 basic salary commission, with OTE up to £40,000 per year Are you confident, calm under pressure, and great at dealing with people from all walks of life? We are looking for Arrest Officers to join our team in Liverpool. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient execution of arrest warrants, ensuring compliance with High Court instructions. This includes engaging with individuals named on warrants, arranging payment or planned surrender, and when necessary, carrying out arrests and transport. You will also be required to conduct inquiries to locate defendants, complete all necessary documentation, and work flexibly to meet operational demands across the region. You will also work within High Court Specialist Field Operations, including eviction enforcement. What You Will be doing: Visiting addresses listed on court-issued warrants and carrying out instructions. Arranging payments, planned surrenders, or where needed, making an arrest and ensuring safe transport. Issuing receipts for all payments received and to inform courts of all payments taken. Completing the necessary paperwork and updating handheld devices so everything is recorded properly. Handling situations calmly and professionally, even when they get challenging. Ensuring post-incident procedures are followed. Carrying out any other tasks as required in connection with the service, execution or return of warrants, summonses, orders, and notices, including obtaining and reporting information regarding the customer and/or the actions taken in executing a warrant. Travelling across the region (and sometimes beyond) to make sure warrants are executed on time. What We Are Looking For: A strong communicator who can talk to people at all levels. Someone confident but fair, with the ability to defuse conflict. Organised and able to juggle a large workload. Flexible – working hours vary between 6am and 7pm, depending on the warrant. Basic IT skills (handheld device use & simple reporting). A true team player who can also work on their own initiative. Calm, professional, and respectful in high-pressure situations. A full UK driving licence is essential.
