Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Alignment : Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure that IT projects support the overall business objectives. This includes defining project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
Project Coordination : Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project is progressing as planned. This involves coordinating with project managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
Resource Management : Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring that projects have the necessary personnel, technology, and budget to be successful. This includes managing and mitigating resource constraints and conflicts.
Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. This includes conducting risk assessments, monitoring project progress, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Stakeholder Communication : Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring that stakeholder expectations are met. This involves preparing and delivering presentations, reports, and other communication materials.
Quality Assurance : Ensure that all projects meet the required quality standards and deliverables. This includes conducting quality reviews, audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Track and report on the performance of IT projects, using key performance indicators to measure success. This involves analysing project data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance project outcomes.
