An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Digital Services (ICT) department. The position is for a full time FTE (37 hours) per week, Monday to Friday.
About you
You will support all activities related to financial and procurement transactions, collaborating with Finance, ICT, and P2P Shared Services, as well as partners, Services, and suppliers, ensuring the efficient processing of orders and payments in compliance with financial regulations and standing orders.
You will coordinate operational information between Digital Services (ICT), ICT service providers, and the wider Council, providing support to meetings as directed, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
You may also be required to facilitate the adoption of appropriate ICT solutions within the Service, and promote new ICT products and services where suitable.
You will provide comprehensive administrative support to the team across various programmes, projects, and tasks as directed by the Business Manager and Senior Business Administrator, including inducting and training new and lower graded staff.
A key element would be assisting in the development and maintenance of ICT Service inventories and datasets, including asset registers, application registers, and contract registers; as well as offering administrative support to the Financial Management Officer as required, ensuring smooth and effective financial operations, including prioritising and distributing incoming correspondence.

Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification in ICT or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft products and applications.
* High level of literacy and numeracy.
* Effective communication skills (oral and written) with a wide audience.
* Self‑starter, able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.
* Ability to interpret and convey information.
* Ability to prioritise workload and contribute to team working.
