R&D Manager / Head of R&D – Permanent

We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager / Head of R&D to lead our growing research and development function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong technical background and leadership skills to shape innovation and drive forward new product development.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading and managing the R&D team, supporting and mentoring junior chemists.
* Driving innovation across inorganic chemistry, polymers, coatings, nanomaterials, and related areas.
* Overseeing projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring high-quality outputs.
* Working closely with stakeholders to align research activities with business goals.
* Communicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
What we’re looking for:
* Strong background in inorganic chemistry, polymers, coatings, nanomaterials or similar fields.
* Experience managing or mentoring others in a laboratory or R&D environment.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Please note: this role is not suitable for candidates from pharma, organic chemistry, biological sciences or medical devices.
