We’re looking for a Compliance Assistant to join our Compliance team and support the business in meeting UK, EU, and international regulatory requirements for e-cigarette and e-liquid products. Working closely with Production, Quality, and Projects teams, you’ll help maintain regulatory documentation, support submissions and audits, monitor regulatory changes, and assist with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance. This role is ideal for someone with a science-related background, strong attention to detail, and an interest in building a career in regulatory and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Support the Compliance Department in meeting UK, EU, and international regulatory and quality requirements for e-cigarette and e-liquid products. Work closely with Compliance, Production, Quality, Projects, and Management teams to deliver daily compliance objectives. Assist with day-to-day compliance activities, including TRPR, TPD, REACH, CLP, and ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 requirements. Support the preparation, submission, and maintenance of regulatory notifications, technical files, and product documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date regulatory records, compliance registers, and document control systems. Monitor regulatory updates and help assess their impact on products, processes, and documentation. Assist with REACH and CLP compliance activities, including Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring and management. Support SOP updates, record management, and document control processes. Help prepare for internal and external audits by gathering evidence and supporting corrective actions. Liaise with suppliers to monitor and maintain product specifications, technical data sheets, SDSs, and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs). Provide support to the Quality team with daily QC checks and inspections where required. What we’re looking for A science-related degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant scientific discipline. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Confidence using Microsoft Office applications (Office, Outlook, Teams). A collaborative team player with clear communication skills and a proactive approach to compliance work. Desirable: Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (e-liquids, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, or similar). Familiarity with TPD / TRPR, REACH, and CLP regulations. Experience supporting ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 management systems. Understanding of SDS, labelling requirements, or product compliance documentation. Previous experience in a compliance, QA, or regulatory support role.
