Job Purpose:
The role of the Mechanical Fitter revolves around ensuring the reliable operation of mechanical systems in onshore and offshore environments through installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety standards, ultimately contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of offshore operations. As our Mechanical Fitter your role encompasses a range of responsibilities related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems in workshop, yard and offshore environments.
Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and repair heavy duty machinery including electric motors, pumps, pneumatics and pipework.
* To refurbish and construct customise equipment, when required.
* Perform preventative maintenance.
* Clean and maintain equipment and work area both on and offshore.
* Communicate effectively with other crew members and personnel.
* Aid crew in mobilisation and set up of all plant and equipment.
* Complete all service sheets and associated paperwork.
* Adhere to all mandatory PPE requirements and follow all health and safety legislation to ensure quality assurance through safety procedures.
* Responsible for ensuring compliance with both safety, environmental and quality standards during the execution of their tasks, helping to foster a safe and quality-driven work environment.

Qualifications:
* Must have the right to live and work in the U.K.
* Possess a relevant Mechanical qualification.
* Knowledge/experience of concrete delivery pipework/valve arrangements (desirable).
* Previous experience in an offshore organisation (desirable).
* Possess locally recognised offshore safety certifications (i.e.., BOISET, MIST, Working at Height) (desirable).
