Exclusive Role - Bid Manager £50,000 - £53,000 Nottingham | Hybrid (2/3 days working from home) Permanent - Full-time Eaton Syalon are supporting a growing organisation with the recruitment of an experienced Bid Manager to lead, coordinate and deliver high quality proposals across a range of complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You’ll play a key role in shaping winning submissions, guiding internal teams, and ensuring that opportunities are managed with clarity, pace, and strong governance from start to finish. Duties: Building clear bid schedules with defined actions, checkpoints and review stages Creating strong written content that showcases key messages, differentiators and value Working closely with SMEs to gather accurate technical, operational and commercial detail Turning complex inputs into concise, customer-focused proposal material Keeping all governance tools up to date, including compliance checks, risk logs and trackers Assisting with pricing discussions, cost considerations and overall value positioning Handling several bids at once with strong organisation and consistence Continuously refining templates, processes and bid materials to improve future submissions Qualifications & Experience You’ll have a solid academic foundation or equivalent hands-on experience gained in a structured, professional environment At least five years’ experience working in a dedicated bid, tender or proposal management role A track record of running well-organised, compliant bid processes from start to finish Confident using Microsoft Office to produce polished, accurate and well-presented documents Exposure to tools such as bid platforms, CRM systems or proposal software would be beneficial Professional development such as APMP (or similar) is welcome, though not essential If you’re a confident, process-driven Bid Manager who enjoys leading structured bid cycles and producing high-quality proposal submissions, we’d love to hear from you.
