Overview
Tesco – Paddock Wood, England, United Kingdom. Shift Leader role with pay starting from £14.76 per hour (increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25). Additional payments may apply depending on location.
Our policy is to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options to work as few as 12 hours if desired. Availability windows are posted, and contracted hours are scheduled with 3 weeks notice. We aim to support flexibility where possible.
Responsibilities
* Work in a fast-paced retail environment with variety
* Lead duty shifts, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
* Provide customer service and ensure customers leave with what they came for
* Identify service improvements, coach colleagues, and give feedback
* Guide and support colleagues in-store to maintain a safe working and shopping environment
* Understand store performance and assist managers with actions to improve operations
* Lead by example in all actions and communications

The role includes specific availability windows; shifts are scheduled within these times with 3 weeks notice. If your available times closely match the advertised windows but differ slightly, we’d still love to hear from you.
