CNC Operator
An opportunity is now available for an experienced CNC Operator to join a manufacturer of high quality, specialist equipment.
Based at the company's modern and well-equipped facility in West Oxfordshire, the successful candidate will work within a small team and be responsible for the manufacture of a variety of components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating a range of CNC machining equipment
* Operating the equipment effectively, ensuring that the machine tools are working to the required standards.
* Ensure machines are correctly loaded and that the appropriate CNC program is being executed.
* Monitor tool life and adjust/change tools as necessary to the required specification to maintain component quality and tool longevity.
* Remove swarf, deburr for safe handling and de-water parts after machining.
* Engrave parts as required by Production Order.
* Maintain effective housekeeping of machine tool

Skills & Experience:
* Experience in operating CNC Mills and Lathes
* Experience of reading and understanding Engineering drawings
* Proficiency in a range of measuring equipment and inspection tools
* Experience in producing high quality close tolerance machined components
