HGV Class 1 ADR Night Driver – Middlesbrough People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Middlesbrough. Shifts • Monday to Friday • Start time: 17:00 Rates of Pay: £19.00 per hour Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Weekly pay • Ongoing, consistent work • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • Transporting goods on a curtain-sided vehicle (no handball involved) • Completing trunk runs between depots or client sites • Operating and driving HGV Class 1 (CE) vehicles safely and efficiently • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks • Ensuring all loads are safe, secure, and compliant • Adhering to traffic laws and company procedures • Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly Essential Skills • Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence • Minimum of 12 month's experience driving Class 1 (CE) vehicles • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • ADR Licence (required) • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements) • Strong communication skills and attention to detail • Excellent timekeeping and reliability • Sound understanding of UK road transport regulations Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience in trunking or regional logistics Training Provided Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
