Lecturer - Geography (A Level and GCSE) - Pudsey, Leeds
Come teach at our brand new Sixth Form College opening in Pudsey, Leeds! We are recruiting for roles commencing from August 2025. We are looking for an A Level Lecturer - Geography to join Pudsey Sixth Form College. We seek enthusiastic individuals passionate about teaching and learning, capable of inspiring and motivating students to reach their full potential.
There may be scope for this role to be classified as a T4 Curriculum and Quality Specialist Teacher – this will be discussed with candidates at interview. Our salary bands are £29,638 to £37,525 for A Level Lecturers, and £37,525 to £40,993 for T4 specialists.
What You Will Do:
1. Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
2. Record student progress, motivate and inspire students to achieve targets, and develop their skills for progression.
3. Reflect on teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
4. Adapt curriculum delivery, including online resources, to maximize effectiveness.
5. Plan, prepare, and develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and resources.
6. Deliver engaging sessions using various teaching methods.
7. Develop and employ assessment activities, assess student work, and provide constructive feedback.

* You are focused, passionate, and committed to delivering an inspiring curriculum.
* You are a qualified or newly qualified teacher.
* You have experience teaching students up to Level 3.
* You hold a relevant teaching qualification.
* You have success in managing student progression and providing guidance in educational settings.
* You demonstrate a commitment to professional development.
