Within Roads Operations, the post holder will oversee the daily management of frontline service delivery, coordinating and assigning tasks to roads squads and operatives.
The role involves leading and supervising squads/operatives to execute work instructions related to roads, footways, drainage, road markings, signing, and lighting. The post holder will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, meeting quality standards and performance targets. Participation in winter and emergency services during regular and out-of-hours standby is also required.
The post holder may also be required to perform duties as part of a squad.
Meeting deadlines for oneself and the team is essential.
