An exciting role for a Trainee Medical Device Specialist has arisen in the East Midlands covering hospitals in Derby, Nottingham, and Burton on Trent, with full training and development.
The Role
Based around Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Burton on Trent hospitals, the Trainee Medical Device Support Specialist will support nurses, doctors, and surgeons with onsite support of medical devices. Responsibilities include:
* The day-to-day management and support of various medical devices.
* Providing client support in clinical areas to promote equipment functionality and use, enabling staff to focus on patient care.
* Training and educating clients on device usage and services at client locations as required.
The Person
The successful candidate will ideally have healthcare experience from NHS, private hospitals, or armed forces (including REME, RAF, NAVY). Experience with medical procedures, medical devices, or sterile services is advantageous. This role suits graduates or healthcare professionals such as medics, healthcare assistants, theatre assistants/nurses, scrub nurses, or medical salespersons seeking new opportunities with growth potential.
