3. Recruitment & on-boarding
4. Consulting on issues related to workplace relations, training and performance management
5. Manage / oversee grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
6. Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation
7. Managing payroll
8. Exit interviews
9. Write and present information briefings on a range of HR related topics
10. Producing reports, statistics and completing HR projects as requested by managers / Partners
11. Attend Employment Law meetings / seminars & keep up to date with HR best practice and employment legislation
12. Deal with regulatory requirements in respect of the Law Society of Scotland, Solicitors Regulation Authority and Financial Conduct Authority
13. Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
14. Branch / office visits
The Successful Applicant
15. Degree in human resources or a relevant area or CIPD qualification at minimum level 5
16. 3 years+ relevant experience
Desirable
17. Drivers Licence
Skills & ExperienceEssential
18. Strong knowledge of employment law and legislation
19. Generalist HR experience within an HR environment
20. Experience in providing advice and support to senior managers on strategic matters
21. Experience in leading projects and implementing new initiatives
22. Familiar with all Microsoft Office packages
