Overview
An organisation is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and govern secure cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on building secure-by-design infrastructure, identity and access management, and supporting delivery teams in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform
* Apply best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance, including:
* Identity and access management
* Encryption and key management
* Organisational policies and deny policies
* Participate in IAM governance activities and compliance audits
* Work within agile delivery teams in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on feature delivery
* Ensure solutions are secure from inception, incorporating defence-in-depth principles
Required Skills & Experience
* Google Identity & Access Management (Google Identity, OIDC, Workload Identity Federation, RBAC)
* Authentication & Authorisation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
* Programming/scripting: Python or Go
