Job Overview
Trade Counter Supervisor based in Eastleigh.
Responsibilities
* Serve customers behind the trade counter and provide product recommendations.
* Process orders—both online and in store—from suppliers.
* Manage stock in the warehouse and at the trade counter.
* Deal with new account openings to generate new business.
* Handle deliveries.
Working Hours
Full‑time, permanent role—40 hours per week: Monday to Friday 07:30am – 04:30pm with 1‑hour break. Saturday rota 08:00am – 12:00pm paid as overtime.
Qualifications
* Previous industry or merchant experience and knowledge in plumbing/heating products.
* Prior experience in a face‑to‑face customer service/sales environment.
* Previous supervisory experience (essential).
* Team player eager to take on a diverse role and ensure smooth branch operations.
* Positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic.
