Early Years Practitioner - Fixed Term until 26/06/2025
Location: Gylemuir Nursery
Salary: £28,046 - £32,010
Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks
We are looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and committed Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to join our team. We welcome applications from individuals who want to help instil our values of being welcoming, supportive, creative, and happy. As Gylemuir Nursery operates year-round, the successful candidate will work flexibly across four shift patterns to meet the needs of individual children. They should be a team player who contributes to planning, facilitating, and evaluating high-quality learning experiences.

Regulatory and Background Checks
This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If you have spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.

Salary and Working Arrangements
Our salary range typically reflects the starting salary with annual increases until reaching the top of the range. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
