Job Title: CNI Lead Engineer
We are seeking an experienced CNI Lead Engineer – Electrical Bias to work with a Mitie client, providing multi-skilled maintenance services to Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). The role involves electrical and mechanical disciplines, delivering reactive and proactive maintenance in line with project requirements across all operational equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational: Ensure CNI assets are fully operational and KPI targets are met. Act as the main client contact for all operational activities, schedule and approve PPMs, and provide technical support to CNI Engineers.
2. Manage shift schedules, including escalation processes for incidents, and support 24/7 operations through shift rota duties as needed.
3. Capacity Reports: Compile and analyze data to identify asset efficiency improvements for discussion with the client.
4. Incident Reports: Ensure incidents are reported per KPI standards and are resolved satisfactorily with corrective actions.
5. Change Controls: Raise change controls with high accuracy for work approvals.
6. Weekly Reports: Gather relevant data, compile, and submit weekly CNI reports accurately and timely.
7. Areas of Improvement: Develop scenario training, identify gaps in business continuity planning, and suggest efficiencies for PPMs and reactive works.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience managing planned and reactive works in critical environments like Data Centres
* Proven track record as an appointed person for HV/LV systems
* Strong people management skills, including managing subcontractors
* Knowledge of H&S legislation and asset management systems
* Valid driver’s license
* Qualified electrical/mechanical engineer (e.g., BS, City & Guilds, ONC)
* Proficient in MS Office
