Job summary
Haverhill Family Practice are recruiting for a part-time care navigator. The position is for 20 hours per week: Monday 8:00am-1:00pm and Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 1:30pm-6:30pm.
General practice is a challenging environment that requires a calm and caring approach with the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team player who has customer service/patient experience and offers excellent communication skills.
Main duties of the job
* Welcoming patients via telephone or face to face.
* Answering incoming calls in a prompt, friendly efficient manner.
* Booking of appointments.
* Arranging home visit requests.
* Signposting patients to the correct clinician.
* Receiving and processing daily E-consults from patients.
* Handing repeat prescription / med3 requests
* Registering new patients
* Liaising with members of practice team
* Managing out-going correspondence
* Updating patient demographics
* General administration duties
* Daily auctioning of tasks.
