Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type - Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are hiring a Teaching Assistant to join schools in Barnsley, notably within the S70 and S71 localities, providing dedicated support in lessons and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers to support learning, assist with classroom management, and help create an engaging and inclusive environment for all students. Your role will be key in ensuring pupils are supported academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities.
* Support pupils with learning tasks and individual needs.
* Help maintain a safe and positive classroom atmosphere.
* Monitor and report on pupil progress as required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting as a Teaching Assistant.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
